As one of the fastest growing industries in the UK, the Estate Agency world is increasingly competitive – particularly as technology changes the way we buy and sell property.

Crown Vocational Training is one of the few providers of Estate Agency Apprenticeships, and we have over 20 years’ experience of successful delivery. The Junior Estate Agent and Sales Negotiator Apprenticeships offer routes into professional bodies and builds the foundation of an interesting and rewarding career in Estate Agency.

Our programmes are delivered through a series of live workshops delivered online, supported by a learning platform with access to a range of resources. One-to-one support is provided by our expert tutors throughout the programme until End Point Assessment has been completed.

  • Progression routes following this Apprenticeship are available with Crown Vocational Training as we are a Propertymark Centre and offer training and qualifications for the Propertymark Certificates.

Course Levels

Junior Estate Agent (Level 2)

The Junior Estate Agent Apprenticeship is for those who want to develop a career as an Estate Agent in residential sales, property listing, or sales progressing and have no, or limited experience within the industry. The length of programme is 12-15 months (depending on experience). The syllabus includes:

  • Understanding the property market, including factors influencing the value of property
  • Legislation and Codes of Practice and how to become a professional practitioner
  • How to carry out effective property viewings and negotiate offers on property
  • Understanding property styles, building construction and defects
  • Understanding Planning Regulations, Listed Buildings, Conservation areas
  • How to provide first class customer service to ensure a positive customer experience

Sales Negotiator (Level 4)

The Sales Negotiator apprenticeship, built upon the Sales Executive standard, is for those who want to develop a career as a Sales Negotiator in residential property sales and already have some experience within the property industry.

As part of the programme, learners will complete the nationally recognised Propertymark Level 3 Certificate in Property Agency, enabling individuals to apply for membership of the NAEA (National Association of Estate Agents), subject to any additional entry requirements.

The length of programme is 18-21 months (depending on experience). The syllabus includes:

  • The role of a property professional
  • General law & practice for property agents
  • Organisational knowledge
  • Market knowledge
  • Negotiating and closing sales
  • Commercial & financial acumen
  • Customer engagement & experience
