As well as having a small car park there is street parking right outside, Caedmon Hall is also close to rail and bus links from further afield.
How much are the sessions?
One hour sessions are charged at £25, discounts are available for siblings
Mock 11+ tests are available during the holidays at a knock down price of £30!!!
If you are eligible to receive “child care vouchers” these can be used to support the cost of tuition
If your child is eligible for a school “pupil premium payment” ask your child’s head of year if this can be used to fund these sessions
Do I have to commit to any period of time?
No payment is on a weekly basis, however if your child is due to attend and does not, a charge will be made. If the programme does not suit your child simply tell us and no further charge will be made.
How long are the sessions and what days & times are available?
Sessions are usually for 1 hour and dependant on space being available can be book from Monday to Saturday. Session times are 4pm-6pm Monday to Friday and 9am-1pm on Saturday.
Will my child take an initial assessment?
Yes – but our assessment is not a ‘test’! It’s simply a way for us to establish your child’s strengths and needs, helping us to group them accordingly. We also use the information from the assessment to support your child in future sessions.
Will my child be tutored privately or as part of a group?
We offer two styles of delivery. Small groups of 3 students offering focused attention solely on Maths and English or larger group sessions that are drama focused but encompass delivery of maths and English within the sessions.
Each has its merits and gives a different approach to teaching and learning.
Do you give feedback after sessions?
Learner reports are produced on a termly basis and appointments can be booked with your child’s tutor at any point to discuss their programme and progression.
