Property Manager Apprentice


Location: Basildon

An exciting and progressive opportunity with a renowned Estate Agents and Property Lettings Management company with branches across Essex and Kent. You will be ambitious to start your career in the growing sector of Residential Lettings.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the management of the front office dealing with face to face, telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Assist with the management of the applicant database, ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants
  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties
  • Arrange and attend viewings
  • Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants
  • Close deals
  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets
  • Maximize board presence and promote brand awareness at all times
  • Signing up tenants and working through the process
  • Ensure all tenancies commence in line with legislation
  • Ensure offers are accepted, all terms agreed, and application forms are completed in full by prospective tenants
  • Process completed application forms
  • Complete the referencing process
  • Process new landlord and tenant insurance policies
  • Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, property inspections and maintenance repairs
  • General administration duties
  • Correctly record all messages, viewings and appointments
  • Bring complaints to the attention of your Line Manager immediately
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first-class level of customer service at all times

Additional information:

Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full UK Driving Licence and a vehicle for your own use. Applicants not meeting this criteria will be rejected.

Important Information

Working week:

Monday to Saturday (Day off in lieu during the working week) 9.00am - 6.00pm (May vary) with 1 hour lunch


£148 per week (£3.70 per hour)
