Property Management Apprentice (HPMAD&HH)


Location: Hornchurch

A fantastic opportunity to work with an ambitious and growing organisation. This estate agents have several branches based across Essex and London and is rapidly expanding its operations. You will have the opportunity to learn endless amounts about the property industry and progress your career over the course of the programme and beyond.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the management of the front office dealing with face to face, telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Assist with the management of the applicant database; ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants
  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties
  • Arrange and attend viewings
  • Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants
  • Close deals
  • Canvassing/leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets
  • Maximize board presence and promote brand awareness always
  • Signing up tenants and working through the process
  • Ensure all tenancies commence in line with legislation and guidelines
  • Ensure offers are accepted, all terms agreed and application forms are completed in full by prospective tenants
  • Process completed application forms
  • Complete referencing process
  • Process new landlord and tenant insurance policies
  • Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, property inspections and maintenance repairs
  • Update website with property details
  • General administration duties
  • Correctly record all messages, viewings and appointments
  • Bring complaints to the attention of your Line Manager immediately
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with landlords and tenants
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first-class level of customer service at all times
  • Attend all meetings and training courses as required by your Line Manager
  • From time to time perform duties outside of this job description reasonably requested of you

Additional information:

  • The successful candidate must have a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle

Important Information

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 6pm (with 1 hour lunch)
42.5 hours per week


£250 per week
