Junior Estate Agent Apprentice


Location: Leigh-on-Sea

This estate agent in Leigh is an established estate agent dedicated to excellent customer service. We are looking for a team player and dedicated individual to join our team to undertake the junior estate agency apprenticeship route. he main functions will be the following, although are not definitive:

  • To register applicants onto the database
  • To manage the data base with regular contact to purge redundant applicants
  • To book viewings by calling the data base and property matching, as well as downloading email and web leads requesting viewings
  • Managing and updating company’s social media
  • Obtaining regular feedback from viewings and liaising regularly with prospective clients
  • Conduct property viewings
  • Prospecting –by calling data base of local property owners with potential property to sell and booking in valuations
  • Prospecting – by dropping door to door leaflets in specific areas, in roads where we have recently sold, and also to properties that have been on the market with other agents, or withdrawn from the market
  • Various administrative tasks to support the sales team, including printing and franking letters for posting, archiving, filing
  • Front office – to meet and greet potential clients who come into the office and register their details on the system for sale or let. Print and hand out brochures to applicants visiting the office

Things to consider:

  • Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle
  • Candidates will be entitled to commission once the 3 month probationary period has been completed
  • When using own car and mobile phone (mainly for emails) for business use, Think Property will pay £100 per month towards expenses
  • Candidates will be required to attend training sessions with Think Property (this may take place in London)

Desired skills:

  • Have good clear telephone voice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be IT literate able to use email, Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel
  • Be reliable and maintain good time keeping
  • Be organised with paperwork and person tasks list

Personal Qualities:

  • The person should be of smart appearance
  • Be a team player, yet have the confidence to work on own initiative


  • C/4 or above (or equivalent) in GCSE maths and English
  • Candidates must also hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, due to the nature of the role

Important Information

Working week:

Monday to Friday 8.45am - 6pm. A day off in the week to be agreed once started. Saturday 9am - 4pm (1 hour lunch).


£155 per week (£4 per hour)
