Customer Service Apprentice (CSPPRST)


Location: Chelmsford

Working within an established lettings agent in Chelmsford, you will be an integral part of the team delivering excellent customer service to external customers and working with the team to support them in their daily roles.

Duties may include:

  • Uploading applicant details onto company systems
  • Screening telephone calls and transferring them to relevant persons
  • Answering telephone and email enquiries
  • Understanding details on properties listed
  • Answer customer queries
  • Meet and greet clients in the office
  • Liaising with the sales team and providing customer/administrative support
  • Being aware of company policies and procedures and keeping them up-to-date

Desired skills:

  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office packages – Word and Excel
  • Good literacy skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good telephone manner

Personal qualities:

  • Organised
  • Punctual
  • Team player
  • Willing to work hard


  • A good general level of education
  • C/4 above in Maths and English at GCSE level (or equivalent)

Important Information

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm (with 1 hour unpaid lunch)
40 hours per week


£11,000 per annum
