Business Administrator Apprentice
You will be providing support to other members of staff and contributing to giving customers an excellent service and after sales care. Your role will be key in ensuring the smooth running of our office providing other staff with adequate support to work efficiently and contributing to our future success.
Vacancy Description
- Answering the telephone, taking accurate messages if necessary and passing to the appropriate person
- Following company procedure in processing customer orders and documentation co-ordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies and governing bodies
- Basic Sage work, producing invoices and statements
- Updating customer information on data base with daily report downloading
- Manage travel arrangements, booking appointments and courses
- Manage e-mail, letters, take deliveries
- Type letters and specifications
- Help in ongoing projects focused on efficiency within the office
- General stock checking and ordering stationary/cleaning/provisions when necessary
- General office housekeeping
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Additional information:
- The offices are located within a shop on the High Road in Benfleet
- There will be a requirement for the selected candidate to attend college workshops at least once a month
- There will be an increment applied to the salary as the candidate progresses through the programme
