  • Assist with the management of the front office dealing with face to face, telephone and e-mail enquiries.
  • Assist with the management of the applicant database; ensuring regular contact is made with all prospective tenants.
  • Register applicants and match applicants to properties.
  • Arrange and attend viewings.
  • Liaise and negotiate offers between landlords and tenants.
  • Close deals.
  • Canvassing / leafleting to seek new business opportunities including targeting competitors.
  • Achieve pre-agreed targets.
  • Maximize board presence and promote brand awareness always.
  • Signing up tenants and working through the process.
  • Ensure all tenancies commence in line with legislation and guidelines.
  • Ensure offers are accepted, all terms agreed and application forms are completed in full by prospective tenants.
  • Process completed application forms.
  • Complete referencing process.
  • Process new landlord and tenant insurance policies.
  • Arrange inventories, gas safety certificates, property inspections and maintenance repairs.
  • Update website with property details.
  • General administration duties.
  • Correctly record all messages, viewings and appointments.
  • Bring complaints to the attention of your Line Manager immediately.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and provide a first-class level of customer service at all times.
  • Attend all meetings and training courses as required by your Line Manager.
  • From time to time perform duties outside of this job description reasonably requested of you.

Additional information:

  • A driver is preferable with their own vehicle (higher salary will be paid of £5 per hour), but organisation will welcome applications from candidates currently learning to driver or are near to passing their driving test and have the capacity to acquire a vehicle.  Business Mileage will be paid when own vehicle used for business purposes.

Important Information

Working week:

Monday to Friday 9.30am - 6.00pm (There may be a requirement for weekend work, which can be negotiated where a day off during the week is given in lieu) 1 hour lunch break
37.5 hours per week

Wage:

£155.63 per week
